It doesn't seem fair, but airplanes do have their weight limits in order to fly. That's why they charge for overweight luggage. If someone is going to weigh as much as two people, then yeah, I can see them charging for two....simply on that basis...that they can only carry so much weight. I'm no skinny minnie myself either and have no prejudices about larger folks, but I do see the sense in it.
