I have been to Philippines since my mother is a Filipina. It is a great place to visit. There are many affordable resorts. Since the country is of diverse ethnicity, you will learn a lot of different culture. Above all, the cost of living is very cheap. Beautiful resorts are affordable. Most of all, the people are hospitable.
