Default Language Schools

Where are some language schools located throughout this region? I think it would be great to travel around and visit some of the local language schools to take classes.

You better visit Bangkok. The city has 8 Language Schools. If you wish to learn Thai language check on Thailand Internship. If you like to learn Spanish, try Instituto EspaƱol . The school is devoted on teaching Spanish language and culture.

When I first looked at the thread, I thought you meant English language schools, wishing to teach English over there. Never mind, my mistake... Good idea to learn Asian languages in Asia, immersion in the culture helps greatly.

Just keep in mind that what you learn in class may differ from how people actually speak on the streets. My son, who currently lives in Taiwan, learned this. He was in a crash course to learn Mandarin - 10 week program - and felt pretty confident. Once he arrived in Taiwan and heard all of the different accents, his confidence declined. But he's keeps working at it and I think he's getting better.
