Default Scuba Adventures

What are some popular spots in the Bahamas to do scuba? Do you need special training before you go out on a scuba trip?

That would be Nassau Paradise Island. Snorkeling is one of their water sports. Try it Stuart Cove's Snorkel to have an enjoyable experience.

We'll be in Nassau for one day and hubby said he'd like to scuba, but I don't think I can do that. It's hard for me to even watch Jaques Cousteau because I feel so claustrophobic!! Snorkeling might be the perfect solution and I see they do have a few places that they take you and give you some instruction. If I can come up and look around and see out of the water, maybe I won't panic or anything! LOL!

Perhaps it will not be so scary when you actually try it. Did you ever dive under water? I thought it would be frightening to go under, but when I actually did, I was fine, I only wished I could hold my breath longer so that I could do more of it.

I never went scuba diving.
I am assuming it is loads of fun.

Do they provide some kind of basic training before you get to go?
