Default Shopping in Nassau

I've heard the marketplaces and such in Nassau are a must do thing when traveling down there. I'm looking forward to picking up some unique souvenirs and such and I've heard that you can find some really terrific prices as well. We were told to bring an extra suitcase in fact. Has anyone been there, done that???

I actually was not all that impressed by the shopping in Nassau. I am also not much of a shopper, but I do like to get souvenirs. Also, I was only there as a port stop on a cruise and mostly only saw the shops right by the port. Perhaps there is better shopping farther from port. Anyways, I was happy to get a Hard Rock pin for my collection.

I too do not do a lot of shopping when on vacation. I just love to enjoy the sights.
