I'd say the Canary Islands, though it's not on the Spanish mainland. Especially Gran Canaria is a really popular destination for people in Europe, though the other islands are nice as well.

Another popular destination, on the mainland, is Costa del Sol (or "the Sun Coast").

I believe that Ibiza is the best sunny resort to visit.Beautiful place there and very warm people. If you have the change to go there, take it.

The Costa Del Sol is very English and very expensive. If you are looking for something a bit quieter you cannot go wrong with Almeria. Lots of history, miles and miles of flat beaches and blue seas. It is supposed to be the hottest and driest part of Spain and even has its very own dessert. You can even take a trip to a place called Mini Hollywood, a place where they film the westerns. A really good day out for everyone.

You certainly can't go wrong in Ibiza, especially if you want a party-filled vacation. Valencia is also a wonderful destination, I was there last summer and would highly recommend it.

I think we should check Sunsort's guides on Spain.
Do they have any?
