What food did you like the most in Italy?

Italy offers a lot of variety when it comes to foods. The North is more oriented towards using butter and heavy meals such as polenta, ravioli, tortellini, lasagna, the South uses more extra virgin olive oil and lighter dishes such as rice, pizza, vegetables. There are lots of typical dishes served.

I sure loved the pizza made in Naples and the caprese salad.

I've never been to Italy, but I've heard from every single person that has visited that the pasta is so different. This is probably due to the fact that they make it and cook it right there. They don't get it from a plastic bag....
