European people are they more friendly?

It is said that european people are more friendly than other countries do you agree with this or not?

I was raised in Italy and lived in Germany for some years. I think it varies just like anywhere. The most friendly people I have met in Europe ,where those from small towns, where everybody knows each other and they would invite you over for lunch or dinner even if they do not know you to well. In the city they seem to be a little more on the reserved part.

I suppose Europeans arre the same as people anywhere else in the world, some are very open and friendly, like my neighbours, and others are just busy getting on with their own lives.

I don't think any place is necessarily friendlier than the other. I was treated royally by Australians when there. Parts of the US have been amazingly friendly. Canada was scary. I think it depends on the 'where' and 'when'.

I don't think you can generalize about an entire continent

I do believe other places will be more welcoming than others.
