Your best beach vacation

What is the best beach vacation you've ever had? I mean, a perfect or nearly perfect one: bright sunny weather, beautiful sea / ocean, excellent service, and various fun activities. Where was it? What time of the year did you go? Was it a family vacation, honeymoon, or did you go alone?

The best was probably Beaufort Beach. Its nice, small, clean, and a nice place to live. You should visit Beaufort Beach sometime when you get the chance. Really you should.

I would certainly love to. I like smaller places, the kind where you can walk around and almost immediately feel a part of the community.

Several years ago, a trip to Hawaii. I think it was actually October, but I've forgotten for sure now. It doesn't matter -- it was perfect. I loved every moment of it!

Just seems you can't mention great beach vacations without thinking of Hawaii. On my top list is probably the vacation to Alcudia, Mallorca when I was 15. Gorgeous beach/weather, a luxurious hotel and excellent food. What more can you ask for?

The best beach I've been is in Antalya.Beautiful place there.I've stayed in a 5 stars hotel(Delphin Palace) and the service is great.

We were young, and without children or worries and my partner and I went to Portugal. We just sat either around the hotel pool, or on the beach for two whole glorious sunny weeks. We went in the last week of July - First week in August and it was just perfectly relaxing.

My best beach vacation is when hubby and I decided to drive down to Seaside, Oregon and spend a weekend for the honeymoon that we never had. We had so much fun!! We went in March and got our car stuck on the beach on the way down there, and had a variety of mishaps, but we stayed at a beachfront hotel down there, and just had a wonderful time!!

In Italy, precisely, Taormina. The water was luke warm in the evening, and I could see the Mt. Etna vulcano in the distance. I like sandy beaches and eating gelato as I walk barefoot along side the waves.

I would say the best beach vacation for me was in Cancun in March - the weather was perfect, the ocean clear, and we had a room right on the water!! I want to go back!!

Well, it really wasn't a vacation but a business trip, but after a day of meetings, I went to the beaches along Sarasota, Florida and thought they were just beautiful. The sand was so soft and warm and the water was just perfect. One of my fondest memories of being in the water was when I was just standing about chest high in water and a school of tiny fish pelted me as they were swimming by.
