Default Dining at 34,000 feet

Do you like the food served on flights? I have had some pretty decent meals, but lately some were pretty disappointing. Plus, I get motion sick easily so I do not have the greatest appetite onboard.

Some people have started the trend of dining at the airport before boarding their flight, since some flights now charge for food. What are your thoughts?

I had some great food on international flights, Iberia airlines had some decent food - the lasagna was pretty good for airline food. Last time I flew I had a soggy banana and about 3 scoops of corn flakes on Continental...

I don't like the traditional aluminum pack many airlines serve; the choice is usually beef, chicken, or fish, and either one is nothing tasty. I had decent sandwiches on some flights. Swiss Air offers good food, too.

I hate eating on a plane it is so cramped and you cant fully enjoy it, I tend not to eat anything but drink loads of water.

I'm not a big fan of airline food. Generally too, the past few times I've flown we didn't even get a snack or even those almonds they used to hand out. We were lucky to get something to drink!!

Iv`e never flown anywhere long enought to get food. I usually will buy some snacks after going thru the screening cause then they let you take that on the plane. I have only had drinks and chips or peanuts or pretzels offered on a plane.

Yep, they want you to *buy* your food now, and the prices are way off. Longer flights still include meals, but shorter ones do not. I'll start bringing my own snacks!

Do they allow personal food on flights, I doubt about it.Eating is not all that enjoyable reason is that you are in tight position and handling that tray loaded with stuff is no fun at all.

I've never liked food on the airlines. I'd say most of the time I don't accept it anyway. Sometimes I'll just have nuts or something and a beverage. It's usually just the very long, international flights where I've succumbed and eaten on board. It's usually not worth it.

I like food served on planes as long as they are delicious. I have no problems when it comes to foods.

for some reason, I don't really care what they serve me on an airplane, especially if it is a long flight

I'll eat anything that won't kill me, and will keep the clock running
