How long?

How long do you recken is too long for a vacation? I've usually done 4 to 5 weeks max, but my scheduel is quite accomadating. How long does everyone else take?

I have taken a month long vacations, and that can be a bit too long, depending on where you go and what you do. I prefer shorter ones now, from several days to a week, maybe a little over.

I can only cope with a couple of weeks and then I want to go home, I like to be around my stuff too much.

I plan my holiday for a week or so, after that the whole family starts missing the home and the routine life. The holidays can be frequent for us but not very long ones.

I only prefer short periods of time for a vacation. 2 weeks would be the longest one I could take.

The duration I think depends on your destination and how much time you can afford to be away from your work. For me, usually its 2 - 4 weeks, that's all I can have because of my work schedule. I think this is alreayd good enough to maintain bonding with my family members whenever we travel.
