Default Aisle or Window

When you fly, which seat do you prefer? If I am alone I like to be in the aisle, that way I do not have to disturb people so much if I need to make a trip to the restroom. If I am with a group though I like the window - easier to sleep and a better view

Always the window, preferably over the wing or right in front or right behind. I love to watch take off and landing and just look out. I hate being on the aisle. Fortunately, haven't had to do it very often.

I always find myself sitting in the middle of a row of three. My daughter likes to sit by the window, hubby gets the aisle seat, so he can get up and get anything that we may need from our overhead locker and I get stuck between the two.

Sounds like a typical mom - getting stuck in the seat no one else wants!!

I would think isle.
When having to use the bathroom, and you have to walk passed 2-3 people, that kind of stinks.

It's just me perhaps.

Each one has its advantages and disadvantages, as it has already been mentioned. I like sitting next to a window, I enjoy looking at the clouds, and it is a little more comfortable to take a nap if you sit there. However, you do pay for it when you need to get up to use the restroom.

I took mostly long flights, and sitting by the window was not that exciting for most of the flight, since it was dark outside.
