Vacation Must Haves

What are some items that you just must bring along with you when you travel? I always make sure to have a first aid kit and a bunch of snacks.

Puzzle book, camera, snacks, Pepsi, and all the usual.

A phone, Ipod,lot of dosh, few credit cards, important documents, the ones which are required while traveling and the rest of the usual stuff.

I don't know, empty credit cards, just in case of some unpredicted disaster.
Not that there could be a predicted disaster, but you get my point.

Can you imagine being stranded somewhere, say, with visa problems, without any money?

The things that are necessary when going on a vacation are water, clothes, snacks, money, cell phone, and a jacket.

did anybody mention an emergency box, with medical needs in case someone gets hurt?

that's a must for sure
