There are so many places to visit, when you plan your holiday you opt for going to a secluded tourist place or it is the most frequented town that you prefer. Some people like to spend time with family at a far off peaceful resort. Some get bored with this and they want to be at the most happening places. What is your choice?

I actually like going to historic places....areas just dripping with history! I'm a nut, I know...most likely a geek. It's an added bonus if the weather is great and there is water too. I just got back from an extended weekend in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin where a friend of mine lives. It's right on Lake Winnebago which is huge!! I was surprised at how large it is. It would have been magnificent if the weather hadn't been cloudy, rainy and chilly, but it was still a load of fun!
