I usually never order anything on the airplane, but I do sometimes buy duty free in the airports. Mostly liqour, I'm not really into perfume, candy etc.

In all honesty, I just don't understand what the big deal about Duty Free is. All my frends keep urging me to stock up on "cheap stuff" when I fly, but I am yet to see any cheap deals. One example: I like Bailey's Irish liquor. It costs $17 here at my local Walmart, and the last time I saw it in a Duty Free shop it was around $19. You tell me what's cheaper??

In our country, not all people are allowed to buy in duty free, only those who just had their flights are allowed. I prefer buying in dury free though.

I thought prices were a lot higher in duty free
are you sure it was an only $2 difference?
