Have you experienced any lost luggage? how did the airlines managed to have your luggage returned? or was it totally gone, did you received any payment

I had my luggage lost at least once
It turned out a week later

if they lose it, they will reimburse you

I haven't experienced having lost luggages yet, I don't want to experience it either.
