Folsom Lake

This is a nice place where folks like to go boating, have picnics, and the like. Unfortunately, it's dropped about 1/2' of water a day all summer. They actually ended up lowering the boat speed limit to 5 mph because of all the things sticking up out of the water. Water conservation is becoming a really big thing in this particular area. Great weather, but more limits on what can be done.

Really? I didnt know that. Well I guess im not going to be going there anytime soon.

Is it only boating and picnics? How about swimming or fishing, is that allowed? I'd think camping is always an option, lack of water shouldn't be a problem for that.

I doubt the levels are dropped right now.
most of the U.S. is flooded
