There are many, many haunted locations in the states that I'd love to explore and I naturally have an interest in them as I'm a paranormal investigator so....yeah. I've been down to Villisca, Iowa twice to check out the Ax Murder House...and there is definitely a lot of activity there. There are many famed haunted hotels here....The Queen Mary, they say, is haunted and is now a hotel in Long Beach, California. The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado is notably haunted and is where Stephen King stayed while writing the Shining. The Myrtles in Louisiana is said to have been built on the site of an ancient Indian Burial Ground. The Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA is supposedly haunted by a lady named Kate Morgan who killed herself there at the bottom of the stairs leading to the beach when her husband never showed up to meet her there. The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Spring, Arkansas reportedly is full of activity. Le Pavilion Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana is reported to have four live in spirits. At the Heathman Hotel in Portland, Oregon guests who have stayed in any room with a number ending in 03 have experienced odd happenings. Fond du Lac, Wisconsin has a Ramada Plaza Hotel that was built over an older building where the gangsters tunnels used to open up into the basement and numerous unexplained phenomenon has been well documented by guests and employees as well. It is believed that the ghost of Dr. William Jacocks walks about the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Ghosts have been witnessed in the Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing, NY since the 1950's!
Oh yeah...there are a lot more, but there's a few to start you off, eh?!
