Default Which colored car you drive?

It is said that one should not opt for the colors which blend with the road. Like smoke grey shaded cars, when zoom on the high way, are said to be not very well visible from a distance. Is it true, was this fact in your mind, when you got your car?

I have a green colored 1997 Saturn SL2. I think the majority of Saturn owners who have a car from that era have a green colored car. Thank goodness it's a dark green and not some light, obnoxious color.

My Audi is white; or the official name "Alpine white"

And no I didn't think of visibility at all, in fact I've never heard anyone mention it until now..

I have a black bicycle, and that's all the "car" I'll ever need. My trek is better than any Audi or BMW.

My family has three cars. A red van, a teal truck, and a darkish blue van.

I think that the safest color for your car is any color that stands out against the background.

That means no:

• Silver cars (Too bad, I like silver... )
• No dull colors*
• No light tans

* The reason for no dull colors is that all things that are outside in the environment always get dulluted and thus the colors get dull. You don't want your car to blend in perfect with a bush/tree or a building and specially not the street.

Orange is a good color. Either a bright orange or a bright green.

My Eurovan is some sort of purple/blue color - its quite strange and I do think it changes color depending on its mood or the season.

I have a white car. I really never had to think about the safety issue because all together I am not very fond of greyish, tan, or dull colors.

Mine is white, and nope, I never thought of that.

Y'all do know that red and orange, etc. are the worst colors in one respect -- they are the most spotted and watched by police. It's that subliminal fast perception.

I forgot to add that I have a grey van and a black motorcycle. The van sits in the driveway during the summer so we can save on gas money. I ride the motorcycle to work and my wife drives the Saturn.

I drive a silver Toyota Corolla.
I like the color because it looks cool, but also because I don't have to wash it too often.
