I for one am really sad that the olympics are ending soon
I guess maybe it was the distraction from everything else that the games provided, but I am really going to miss watching them every evening!

Haha, I'm going to be the complete opposite of you and say I'm glad the olympics will stop hogging the TV channels
Any medals taken by your country mandiees? I think we (Sweden) has taken quite a few but I'm not sure. And even I who don't really care about the olympics couldn't help but hear about Michael Phelps, that blazing fast swimmer. Anyone else but me think it's a little weird how he can be _that_ much faster than everyone else? |

I have realy enjoyed the Olympics this year, and Great Britain has had some fantastic wins. I didnt hold out much hope for Team GB, simply because we never seem to win very much lately, but at the moment I am pround to be British.

I'm pretty bored about the Olympics. I don't get the fascination some people display towards the Games.

I did enjoy the Olympics overall, but I think I'm ready for it to end. It was a nice distraction, I agree, but time to move onward!

I didn't even watch very much of the Olympics this year due to the timing of the events being so late at night. I did see some of the gymnastics and swimming and track events though, and I guess that satisfied the part of me that needs to watch sports events, eh?!

Oh yeah -- that was a big deal. I still think at least two of them were under 16, and I believe China lied their butts off. Nothing to be done about it, but I'm a big believer in karma!

If it had been won fairly, I'd be okay with it. Li Ning was an awesome gymnast and was always a favorite of mine. It's just they cheated, so I can't give them any enthusiasm for it. The girls were very skilled, but they shouldn't have been there, for their own health even.

Actually Olympics being biggest sports event does get hyped.I also keep track of few of the sports and do remain updated with the medal telly. It is not fair if some countries cheat, but isn't it that there are strict rules as far entries are concerned.
