Not purposely as in laying out in the sun. I use a load of sunscreen and generally find activities that are more interesting....then if I get some tan while doing things it's okay I guess. I actually get my tan out of a bottle! LOL!

My wife and I typically lay out in the sun a few minutes each day on a vacation, using sunscreen.

We like to read while we're getting some sun, but getting a tan isn't really a priority, as we've both had burns in the past and we want to avoid that.

Me, I don't need to lay under the sun for tanning, because my color is already tan. What I want is to whitens my skin for a change. For those who hate laying under the sun and what to have a tan color why not try to go for an high-tech operated tanning?

a less dramatic procedure would be bed tanning

an operation? for the color of your skin?

I have done tanning in the past, but in moderation, and it was not the first priority for me. I did see a lot of people for whom it was though. They like to come from a sunny vacation and show off their tan.

I don't get it either, this tanning thing.
Some people even go as far as putting all kinds of lotions so that the tan looks even darker.

one should like the way they look

I am Italian so I have an olive complextion. I tan very easy. But here in Florida you can burn very quick. I imagine anywhere thats sunny is the same. Even if I use sunscreen I still tan.
