Default Whats in your immediate area

for entertainment and tourism? We live in a coastal area so lobster dinners are usually a big draw. Other than that, there isn't a whole lot nearby. A few movie theaters and place to eat. A few lakes with summer camp rentals. Thats about it.

We have the Mighty Mississippi River! Also our downtown area is all listed on the National Historic Registry and there are a lot of antique shops and such down there. Also, summer and fall every other Saturday Night we have a Cruise In type of car show which draws hundreds of folks from the surrounding area. We also have Vermillion Falls and some ruins that are pretty interesting.

I am in San Diego, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, and also a few miles from the Mexican border - so we really kind of have it all Heck, I can even drive 90 minutes or so and go snowboarding in the winter if the feeling hits me!

I live in St Pete Florida. We have a lot of museums , beaches, tourists shops, boat rentals, casino boats, fishing boats that go out all day or half a day. Right accross the bridge in Tampa is Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.
