One of the most beautiful things about Australia is that it cannot be summed up in one word. When thinking of Australia, there are any number of things that come to mind including sea life such as turtles and whales, land life such as kangaroos and koala bears, the friendly atmosphere, the exciting party nightlife, and the Sydney Opera House, are just a few of the most popular associations with this wonderful continent. Visit Australia and when it’s time to leave, you will already be busy planning your next trip - mainly because there's basically an entire continent of sites, and spots to see. You can't possibly see everything in Australia in one trip, unless of course your trip is a couple months long.

The Great Barrier Reef may be able to do the best job of defining what Australia is all about. It is here that you will be able to see and touch some of the most amazing wonders of natural life including tropical birds, fish, and other wildlife, while you swim, sail, snorkel, or scuba dive in the amazing waters. Because this world-known destination is so very large, it’s best to port in Cairns, Port Douglas, or Mission Beach so that you will have a central location while exploring this natural wonder. If that doesn’t fill your taste for amazing sites, you can also check out Mount Kosciuszko, the highest mountain in Australia. Hike, bike, or rock climb up the mountain - it’s a relaxing climb that will reward you with an amazing view that will not be forgotten!

To truly explore Australia, you must take some time to mingle with the locals and soak up the charm and the friendliness that will also meet you at every turn. It’s true that life in Australia is taken with a very easy-going and laidback approach. What better way to spend a vacation than just that! And of course, one must visit the Sydney Opera House at least once in their lifetime. Even if the music isn’t your fancy, a simple tour around the building will leave you feeling as though you have just truly seen one of the most unique structures in the world. The amazing structure was built light-years ahead of its time with engineering ideas that had never been heard of before, such as the design of the massive sails on the water.
